Blessed Fashions Lore

Blessed Fashions started back in 2015 right from the basement of the founder, Salina Akther’s home here in Windsor Ontario. In the beginning, it was a small family thing — customers would drop by to browse and shop, and we also set up at the local farmer’s market on weekends. It was a very local and humble way of sharing and connecting with the (at the time) small community.

In March 2017, we moved out of the basement and opened our first proper and formal storefront at 586 Wyandotte Street East. From there, we kept growing with the support of our customers. We later moved to 500 Wyandotte Street East, then had a short chapter at the Tecumseh Mall. Now, as of March 2026, you’ll find us at our current location: 555 Pelissier St, Unit #B5B, Windsor, ON N9A 4L2.

Even though we’ve changed addresses over the years, it’s still the same family-owned store — the same people, the same values, and the same commitment to serving you.

We carry a wide range of modest clothing and accessories inspired by Islamic values and Eastern cultures. You’ll find elegant abayas, flowing kaftans, jilbabs, beautiful hijabs and scarves in all kinds of fabrics and colors, traditional thobes and kanduras for men, modest maxi dresses, prayer outfits, and matching family sets that work great for everyday wear, Eid, weddings, or special occasions. We also have accessories like hijab pins, undercaps, kufis, and prayer caps to help complete your look.

Salina Akther and her family started Blessed Fashions with a simple goal: to make good-quality Islamic and multicultural clothing easy to find in a time when there weren’t many reliable options available. Whether you’re looking for something comfortable for daily use or something special for a celebration, we want you to feel confident, covered, and true to your identity.
